The Rainmaker at

Pier 39 is a popular tourist attraction on Fisherman's Wharf. Built in 1977 and opened in 1978 it is the third largest tourist attraction in the country. There were two main stages for street performers to work on, and a large pool at the end of the pier where a high dive team would perform comedy dives into the pool from 90 feet up. The Rainmaking machine had two hidden sprinklers and could perform from either end of the pier.
